To go with the 2011 Cat Calendar I now have the 2011 Dog Calendar with twelve of my dog paintings to wag their tails through the year.

The calendar is A4, 8 x 11 inches in size. There are 12 pages, 1 page per month,as well as a cover and a back. It’s wire bound so it’s easy to hang on the wall and change the pages.

Zipper is a very handsome Weimaraner dog who lives with Laura and Bill. Standing against the green of the background his coat is filled with blues and purples and the way it shines emphasises his lovely shape. Truly the super models of the canine world! I’ve picked a wide, narrow format to show off his shape. It’s a 20 x 10 inch oil painting and it’s being painted in softly blended layers.
