OK, I know they’re too cute for words but I couldn’t resist them. And it was interesting to play with colour in this painting.

A sketch of Sasha, a beautiful American Bulldog. I think I’m going to do her on hot pink.

Sasha - American Bulldog in acrylic

Here she is very nearly finished. She’s been painted in acrylics on a fine linen canvas using lots of thin layers of colour. She really is a pretty dog.

I think she looks wonderful against the hot pinks and reds in the sofa, the colours emphasise the delicate pinks and creams in her coat. Its painted in acrylics on fine grained canvas.
